Aim 8:

Students were unsure of the purpose of this bin, therefore this bin wasn't being used and dirty recyclables were being put into the brown bin. We again explained and demonstrated to staff and students the correct usage of this bin and informed teachers on canteen and yard duty at lunch to remind those students on clean up to clean wash any recyclable materials in this bin as part of their clean up and to place them in the blue bin when cleaned. |

There was not a sufficient number of bins in the new playing area of the yard and there was a continuing problem of signs blowing off the existing bins. The principal proposed purchasing new colour-coded bins with the signs engraved on them for long term usage. |
